Dear Beautiful Human,
Thank you for being here. I appreciate the opportunity to sit around this campfire (per se) with you.
I added some updates to Autumn and created a whole page dedicated to our wonderful cat: Joplyn! Joplyn is nested inside Autumn because he showed up on her doorstep as a feral 1-year-old in 2011.
I also am stoked to announce that I finished the first edition of a fundraiser for the three of us! I created the page Prosperity, Reciprocity, and Thriving to hold this and future fundraisers. I really want to expand this into a community page of sorts - so I’ll be working on that next. I have about $50 of essential supplies that I need to pick up in town today - so donations for that would be really helpful (even $5 makes a difference in my flow). in the meantime, I’ll be asking strangers for their support.
Something awesome that occurred while I was literally writing the fundraiser when I was at the library last, was: I received a $34.08 Venmo “donation” from Facebook!! It appears to be some kind of payout from a class action lawsuit. Anyway, I experience these kinds of incredibly timed synchronous events often and I wholeheartedly invite more of them!

I am thoroughly enjoying experiencing shocking levels of generosity from strangers! Since our first Newsletter, I have been given gas money and groceries (or grocery money) by nearly every person I have asked. While in town on the 29th, I was guided to approach a lady and her young son who were on their way into Trader Joe’s. When I asked her if she would be willing to buy one item on my grocery list, she asked to take a picture of the list and promptly bought nearly everything on the list!
I am also thrilled that a $15 donation from a friend in Wisconsin enabled us to purchase a large bin to store our food (freeing up our previous food bin for shoe storage), as well as a locking bin to store refrigerated items in the cold-enough creek, AND put $5 into my gas tank so I could get home and back to town!
That’s all for now because the library is closing soon and I have other errands to run!
Thank you for your presence,
Schuyler
