On October 14, 2025 I met with a guy named Niles in Eugene, OR to discuss an opportunity he had posted on Craigslist to assist with writing software for Arduino (a development platform I have a lot of experience with).

Turns out, Niles has been doing a LOT of work tearing apart a truck, installing a battery system, and upgrading all mechanical components to electrical. It’s just about complete mechanically, and now I am supporting through primarily writing communication software (in C++) via CAN protocols so all components talk to one another and report to a central tablet located in the cab.

Here are a couple pictures and here is his build thread which has many more pictures and information: https://openinverter.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=86579&hilit=Tesla+S10#p86579
